“2 Qahwa” and “Rouge Aswad”: what Karim says about his work
In an interview published by Cairo24, Karim Elemary talked about two projects he considers special in his current run.
2 Qahwa (2025)
He calls it a special project because it brought him back to producer Ahmed Abdel Aty, the man who opened the door to acting for him. He described his part as distinctive, praised writer Amr Mahmoud Yassin, and called Ahmed Fahmy a talented and humble actor.
Rouge Aswad (2026)
He told the interviewer he had finished about 95% of his part and praised working with actress Lagaa El Khamisy.
How he works
- He studies every role offered to him carefully.
- He rehearses his performance more than once before facing the camera.
According to elCinema’s filmography page, 2026 also lists “Qesmat El Adl” and “Forsa Akhira” for him.
A full circle: from his first break with Abdel Aty to “2 Qahwa”.
